Hmm I wonder how I missed this before? lol Anyways, it's really cool to see how you go about colouring things. It's interesting to know you shade and add highlights first!

This is really amazingly helpful. I got some copics for the first time this year, and I haven't had a clue how to start or shade with them.
I do have a quick question; what would you say are the most important colors you have for to have? Because I have a box of skin colored and a box of the basic ROYGBIV colors, including black and brown.

well, it depends on what you draw the most ^^'
Like, for me skin color is really important (and also all the colors i mention in this tutorial x.x)
but my favourite is B63 light hydrangea blue w
the basic red/yellow/blue/black was also my first set and i have to say, that it really sucked, cause it's really really hard to smudge and blend with
for example shock pink and cadmium yellow, cause there just too saturated :(
but i guess it should work for monoton or bicolored stuff ^^
